02111Until visiting Hokitika, I knew about the Farmer in the Dell, but I didn't know that was also the hideout of the glow worms. As came into Hokitika, passed a sign to their dell. So, after darkness had come in Hokitika and I had had my dinner, wondering what to do with, until I remembered the little glow worms!

0116If you can, sneak down the beach for the sunset. Sit on an old rotten log and just watch it the whole way down. Lovely. If you are around this area, try and go more out towards the country...there is a good backpackers called Blue Spur Lodge which is pretty clean and surrounded by walks and fields.
