A great little village - totally underrated! Half an hour from the Mt Hutt ski resort, Methven is just over an hour out of Christchurch.  Some greaat places to stay, and very friendly!

One of New Zealands most under-rated apres-ski party places.  Close to some of the best club fields in the country.  Don't miss the chance for a "couple of quiet ones" at the Blue Bar!
