Takaka is a tiny little place, which to all intents and purposes should be a hole, but its not. It is so small and so 'new-agey' that it takes on a character, and works in and of itself. Its a quaint and restful place that i enjoy going.

Make sure you visit Pupu Springs and Farewell Spit.  Golden Bay holds many wonderful surprises for everyone to discover.  A truly beautiful outdoors place!
