From urban to rustic, wilderness to frenzied activity, North America offers you any option you want.  Head to New York City to see one of the many museums, or to catch a show on Broadway.  Party it up in Miami until well into the morning or relax on a terrace in European-style Montreal.  For stargazing, head down to Hollywood and LA or away up north to Nunavut to watch the Aurora Borealis.  For something more laid-back, take a cruise from Vancouver or Seattle along the Inside Passage up to Alaska.  Along the way, be sure to stay on alert for the song of an orca pod.

Visit one of the many beautiful national parks including Banff National Park and Glacier National Park, raft the Grand Canyon, or take a boat up to the mists of Niagara Falls. Celebrating a bachelor or bachelorette party or just feeling lucky? No other place can beat Las Vegas.  Feeling down?  There’s not one, but two happiest places on earth – take your pick between Disneyland in Anaheim or Disney World in Orlando.  In the winter time, skiiers will find world-class skiing in Whistler or Vail, or heat seekers can go to Hawaii, Florida or Mexico for year round tropical temperatures, great beaches, and water sports.  If you are in Mexico, don't forget to check out the Mayan ruins at places like Chichen Itza.

Want to do high tea?  Bermuda or Victoria is the place to do it.  Want a taste of Creole cuisine? Head to Louisiana and also check out New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz and home to a wild Mardi Gras celebration.  Visit North America for any number of interests and passions.

Travel Tips from people who've been to North America
Everybody says Mexico City is an extremly dangerous city, but from my experience I can tell you, that as long as you don't run around in expensive clothes and shoes without any jewelry, noboy will do you any harm. Actually it's the opposite: Mexicans are warm hearted people how are very proud of their country, and especially of Mexico City, and like to share their knowledge of it with everybody!

Very important to see, besides the usual things you can read in every guide, are the different markets in different parts of the town (especially the "TEPITO" market. Also very interesting are the little Taco Bars in the streets. Don't think about what to eat. Just eat and then ask!

If you drive a car into San Francisco, be prepared to either parallel park or pay a premium for a lot.

For parallel parking, you may have to do so on a very steep hill so prepare yourself! For lots, expect to pay about $5-10 for a couple hours, $25 and up for overnight in private lots, and around $50 per night even when you are a guest at a major hotel.
