The DMZ was obviously as far into North Korea as you can go, but it was a great experience.  There soldiors have so much discipline it was really inspiring to watch both sides just standing there with perfect posture without blinking or moving a muscle in their body, in honor of their country. Just a heads up, be sure not to point at the North Korean Guards, or it will cause quite a stir.
