Travel Tips for Dos and Donts in East NorwayOslo, East Norway, Norway While in Oslo, check out the local pub "London Pub" located at C J Hambros plass 5 in Oslo city centre Good tip? (+1) Oslo, East Norway, Norway Take a local ferry around the little islands in the fjord. Visit the Viking ship museum and the Munch museum. Have shrimps in the marina. For airport transit take the Fly Toget: fast, comfy and affordable Good tip? (0) Nesbyen, East Norway, Norway Nesbyen is the warmest place in Norway - witch doesn't really impress others than fellow norwegians;) But, there is a lot else to the place! There are a lot of hiking/cross country skiing opportunities. I specially love the area around Skårsrudstølen. Nesbyen Alpine Centre has great slopes and a family friendly profile if you're up for down hill skiing or snowboarding. Hallingdal folkemuseum will take you back in time and has guides, activies and plays all summer long. If you're in to geology, Nesbyen is one of the few places that has a meteor crater. Guided tours will teach you a lot! After a warm day I recomend swimming in the local pool at Quisten, in one of the local rivers "Føssan" or my personal favorite: Trytetjern, a lake up in the mountains. Good tip?
