Home to one of the seven underwater wonders of the world, Palau is a diver’s paradise. Consisting of an archipelago of 343 islands (of which only 8 are inhabited) the wealth of unspoiled reefs support over 350 coral and 1400 reef fish species. Dive sites begin at depths of a meter dropping to over 300 meters with clear visibility to 70 meters. Blue holes, huge underwater caverns and numerous reefs are available for underwater exploration, while kayakers and boats can explore the spectacular Rock Islands, a series of foliage covered isles that seemingly float above water. Palau is also home to Jellyfish Lake, an isolated body of water in which the resident population of jellyfish, isolated and free from predators over the course of a millennia, have lost their natural stinging protection. Diving in this lake is one trippy experience. Visit Palau for the relaxing lifestyle and for viewing the thriving population of underwater life.

Saipan is wonderful and sad at the same time.  You see the cliffs from which Japanese mothers and children leapt because they so feared the advancing American soldiers at the end of World War II.  You see the lifeless coral reefs, torpedoed into oblivion, but then you see a bit of new color- life returning.  The people are a product of that combination of sad experience and determination to better themselves.  Listen to them when you visit.

The Rep. of Palau is the paradise on Earth for sea lovers. It's the scuba diving in the world (and I'm diving since many years all around the world, as a scuba instructor). The people are exceptionaly peacefull and welcoming. You'll eat fresh sashimi everyday, so you better love fish!!
Go to Palau, it's a little paradise!
