You can (should?) experience a canal transit:
A partial canal transit tour operates three times a month, every Saturdays, except for the day when it operates as a full transit. We took the full transit tour and enjoyed it very much. After all the partial tour tourists leave (after 4 hours), there is a peacefull ride over the lake and a more impressive transit downwards to Colon (total 8 hours).

We bought our flight tickets to Bogota and then to Quito from Avianca. Then included a trip to Cartagena and did not have to pay 1 cent more!!!
For a Panama-Cartagena-Bogota-Quito tickets we paid only 353 USD!!! Try variations, you will be surprised!

Just outside of Portobello you can experience a fantastic canopy tour.. good relation between price/quality and very nice guides.. http://theadrenalinefactory.com Also in the same area they serve the best octopus in coconut milk! you really have to try some!

If you want nature like Charlies Darwin, volcano and a lot lot af animals.....very fine place.

Is very nice and hot but you will like it because is so cool.

BIG bug and really; avoid the water

If you go to the La Isla de Bocas del Toro, you'll need to bring your own water, since the stuff from the taps isn't potable.

better dont use the water here in sona.
use bottled water :)
enjoy ur stay overnight
the bus to catalina goes arount 5 am :)
