Beware of taxi drivers late at night.  They may take you somewhere you don't want to go and try to rob you!  As long as you have some mase and can jump from a moving car, you will be ok.  :)

If you go to the La Isla de Bocas del Toro, you'll need to bring your own water, since the stuff from the taps isn't potable.
