Concepción is one of the most beautiful cities in Paraguay.  With its beautiful river and nice views, it is really worth the journey.  Go to "Hotel Victoria", you will find a cheap hostel with nice people and an excellent restaurant across the street.  People are very willing to help you out in this city.
