Ollantaitambo's main attraction is the Ollantaytambo Ruins. The ruins include an Incan fortress and was part of the personal estate of the Incan Emperor. 04054If you're not taking the train back to Cuzco from here, there are right outside the station taxis and busses. We took one of the big busses - they only cost 5 Soles per person for this 1hour 45min. trip, are comfortable and there is enough space.

006A wonderful small town, with interesting ruins, and a colorful local market. Great place to explore on foot and a nice stopover en route to Machu Picchu.
