Banaue is mainly visited for its stunning rice terraces, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site. In early 2010, the area had suffered from an El Nino-induced drought with several terraces dried up. If you plan on visiting  this year, the terraces will be spectacular as usual, but there is likely to be little growing on them.
