Paoay in Ilocos is the hometown of former president Ferdinand Marcos. I did get to visit the Mausoleum where his body is supposedly at rest. Also had the chance to visit the so called Malacanang of the North where Marcos built the presidential home. Got the chance to see the sand dunes where this famous Philippine movie "Panday" (Blacksmith) was filmed.
