Travel Tips from people who've been to Evora
Besides the interesting Roman Temple of Diane, the central square has some beautiful buildings from the 18th-19th century with lots of terrasses to enjoy the sun... but truly unmissable is the Bones Chapel, close to the Catgedral, that is truly unique in the world, with thousands of bones placed in the walls, columns, roof and even two human skeletons still hung on the wall... a must see while in Evora!! Good tip? (0) Visit the Capela dos Ossos at the Ingreja de Sao Francisco, for a very creepy sight: a chapel made from the thighs and skulls of hundreds of monks. Also, Diana's Temple, a roman building from around 1st century A.D. is the oldest roman ruin in Iberia. Good tip? (0) Il faudra visiter le temple romain d'Évora, dit Temple de Diane. La ville est sympa :) compter une journée Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Evora
