it will souds weird but bring a sweater or a jacket, because ALL the places have air conditioner and its very , very cold. All the outside atracttions take place after 5 o´clock because is when the sun comes down. If you are from mexico you need a visa. In Doha they respect that women travelers don´t cover your hair or face.

Fantastic for the it's outstanding water front...The Corniche.
Go sailing with Captain Mike out of the marina at the Sheraton.

Excellent Indian food in most every restaurant. The Chinese food is rancid. For the sports enthusiast, you'll find venues for nearly every sport imaginable professional and amateur facilities are state-of-the-art and bountiful.

The men are gorgeous and plentiful. Women are gorgeous too....but if you're a man, you'll rarely experience the pleasure of getting to know these Muslim beauties.

Pearl and Paloma are the two popular clubs in town. But Cloud 9 and Garfield's are much funkier fare for the expats that live in Doha.

Driving in Doha can be daunting as the roads are still rather new (or still under construction). this means that signage is minimal and experienced local drivers do not obey any implied traffic safety rules.

Generally good emergency healthcare, through the public Hamad hospital. A number of private clinics and the most important private new Al Ahli hospital provide good services and have even European practicioners amongst staff.
