Definitely go see Pelis castle. The tour isn't very expensive and it is so beautiful. It is beautiful inside and out. Take the little road and follow the path past all the little shops. Beware of things "made in China" that they will try to pass as something made in Romania. But, there are many things that truly are made in Romania.

If you go to Sinaia, do not forget to visit Peles Castel - provided it's open. It's worth the hike for it's food for your soul. After that be sure to get in your car and check out Taverna Sarbului. The way up is steep and scary but the food is worth the trouble and so are the sights you get to see along the way.
