  0264Sibiu's astonishingly beautiful old part is nicely renovated, the German name of the town is Herrmannstadt; before the Cheaucescu-Regime there were a lot of German-Speaking Romanians living there. The weather in autumn is mostly moderate, food is cheap, the most expensive part of the trip will be the hotel. Good tip? (+1)  01835Hostel Felinarul! (0)  003Sibiu, city in the center of Transylvania, therefore of Romania, is a city with the nostalgic Austro-Hongarian charm. Lovely city but not really representative of the Romanian culture and even the Region (Transylvania). Except for Brasov, a comparable city, the area is especially rural and poor. Good tip?
