Sightseeing: Citadel is really worth seeing, especially the tower with colorful roof and the clock-good time for the pictures is in the afternoon.
Accommodation: In the street Stefan cel Mare ask for old lady called Mama Ana with the daughter Helena, tents in the garden 3 EUR per person per night, beds 5 EUR per person Transportation: Mini buses (maxi-taxi) available, also normal buses and trains, very nice railway station with air-condition there ;)
Food: Two pleasant restaurants with beer gardens very close to the old citadel. There is also market with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese (in front of supermarket Penny)
Money: No problem with exchange offices if you have EUR, dollars or hungarian money
Activities: There is a Medieval Festival which takes place in the old citadel in July.

There's not many restaurants in this small town, but mediterranian Cordial restaurant on Piata H. Oberth, at the edge of the historic center serves great salads, pastas and other dishes that actually taste very close to Italian, hard to come by anywhere in Romania, so finding it here was a surprise. Avoid the pizza, haven't tried it, but you can get those anywhere else. Prices are town average and as such, low. It's also a great place for just a drink, with a large terrace, overseeing the square, having fresh fruit juice on the menu as a change from the obligatory alcohol and soda.

Ah Sighisoara! The citadel in the town of Sighisoara embodies all of the things Transylvania to me. I loved this place. The architecture, the clock tower and the covered staircase leading up to the creepy cemetary. Don't forget the house where Dracula was born. This town is small enough to enjoy some peace and quiet and is a great place to relax and explore.
