As it might get very hot due to high humidity it's undoubtely wise to escape to the Black or Azov seacost which are only 2-3 hours away. The late fall and winter might not be the best seasons for visiting the city as it's normally cloudy, the temperatures are about 0..+10 degrees with no or few melting snow or as it happens more often lately even rain.
