When traveling to Krasnodar be aware that summer starts here in the late May and lasts up until mid September. As it might get very hot due to high humidity it's undoubtely wise to escape to the Black or Azov seacost which are only 2-3 hours away. The late fall and winter might not be the best seasons for visiting the city as it's normally cloudy, the temperatures are about 0..+10 degrees with no or few melting snow or as it happens more often lately even rain.
Learn at least several core words and phrases in Russian as it's hard to find an English speaker there (unless of course you haven't hired an interpreter). Watch out the cars while crossing the streets as the green light does not necessarily mean the vehicles stop.
It's only widely possible to exchange Euros or US Dollars.
