Eastern Saint Lucia Travel Guide

Yes, it is a touristy stretch with nothing more than resorts; but there's nothing wrong with some self-pampering and relaxing. Do however get OUT of this region and explore the amazing rain forest; hike or bike around and find yourself some fresh coconuts to break open and eat.

People in Gros Islet are super friendly and helpful; the only annoyance can be the occasional drunk youngster (tourist) walking around.

We stayed at the Club St. Lucia.  Very small resort, all inclusive.  Very laid back.  Our bartender was awesome!
