Palic, Belgrade District, Serbia
Palic is a little, lively town in Serbia of about 8,000 souls. It is reknown for the rather popular Lake Palin . A park was established in 1840 when it was discovered that the lake water and mud had salubrious properties. The entire coast of the Lake is well arranged and it is some 17 km long. The coast is very attractive for its walking paths, bicycle riding or coach driving paths. The mineral water springs have a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, and the mud of the lake is rich in important mineral substances with curative characteristics. Palic Lake is a spa resort. If you are not particularly squeamish, you'll enjoy covering yourself with the mud from the lake, let it dry, then take a good swim in its warm waters to wash it away...
