Studenica monastery is a very beautiful place. Anyone traveling in Serbia would do well to visit, if they are interested in history and monasteries. The smell of myriad flowers in bloom was the best general smell I have ever had the pleasure of sniffing =)

The best, and probably only somewhat really touristic place to go is Stari Grad, literally meaning "the old town". It's an old fortress with a significant history and gives you a (free) perfect view over the city and the surrounding hills. Not a place to stay for hours, but worthwile visiting when e.g. travelling between, Belgrade, Nis, Visegrad and Sarajevo.
