Slovakia - Getting Around

It may not be the cheapest, but for sure the most intriguing way to travel between Vienna and Bratislava:On the Danube at high-speed from Vienna to Bratislava, up to ten times daily. The best way to go around is to start in Information centre (Primacialne namestie). If you can arrange the day trip in advance, book guided group tour. If not, get some baedeker (in old town are planty bookshops open all week) and walk. Bratislava is that small, you can easely see all the major historic sites in a day.

Another fun way to travel from Vienna to Bratislava is by boat. There are a few hydrofoil boats that travel from each city to the other, usually for around 35 euros roundtrip. This is a great, scenic way of traveling from one to the other!
