Skocjan, Slovenia
If you have visited Postojna Cave, you can't skip Skocjan Caves!! They are still fairly unknown though since 1986 they are on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The second part of the caves, the Water Murmuring Cave, with an underground river, an enormous cave where several cathedrals could fit in, walkways and bridges over 50 meter-high precipices, etc. leaves an impression that no words or photos can describe.

Bled, Slovenia
It is just a perfect and calm resort with the lake, the island and the church on it (a typical promo photo of Bled). There are several nice churches and a castle, but it is just worth going around the lake and in hte old town, enjoying fresh air and friendly people... There are nice waterfalls just outside Bled. The Alps on the background are a pleasant contribution to the overall beauty of the place.

Bovec, Slovenia
Bovec is a little but colorful town situated near Slovenian National park Triglav...bursting with possibilities for all arventure seeking indiviuals (hiking, kayaking, rafting, canyoing, cycling, etc) as well as those in a mood for a little bit tamer ativities such as walking, taking photos or simply chilling...I suggest staying in one of many camps near Bovec waking up early in the morning just to enjoy amazing view of beautiful mountains clean creeks rivers all around you...one should definitely take the opportunity to go and see the river of Soca whose wonderful tones of green give an amazng contrast to the white stones of the riverbed...also take time to visit the waterfall of Boka (the view is amazing especially if you climb a bit)...don't forget to take warm waterproof clothes since the weather tends to change from warm sunny to cold rainy in matter of minutes (influence of airstreams climate collisions)...don't forget to take camera a rather big memory card with you...

Piran, Slovenia
Don't bring your car (if you have one) into the city. There is a parking area outside of the town to leave car. If you choose to bring a car further in, the cost is extremely prohibitive (because there is very little parking area in the city proper).
