The Predjama castle is just 10 kilometres from the Postojna Cave and is one of the most fascinating catles you will ever seen. Maybe not because of its interior but for sure for its setting, perched on a cliff in the middle of a karstic area.
An annual medieval tournament is held each July, named after a notorious 15th-century robber baron called Erazem of Predjama.
You can complete your trip to Predjama with a visit to the underneath lying karstic cave, or combine it with a visit to the wonderful Postojnska jama (Postojan Cave)
