quiet and peaceful place. the sea is beautiful, the sand more than most of the places i've seen.
the hostel there is very nice, where you can find whatever you need, from a nice bar with plenty of activities to a bunch of different types of accommodation and help in volunteering around. you just need to get there.

in the village there is all you need, within few minutes walk from the backpack.

if you're looking for a relaxing staying, that's the right place to go!

Gorgeous place in the former Transkei (Wildcoast, Eastern Cape). I don't recommend travelling there on your own, because streets are quite dangerous. However, the place itself is lovely - don't miss visiting Buccaneer's, a beautiful backpacker's, 2 minutes away from the beach. Lovely lonely beaches... a dream!

Beautiful wild beach on the wild coast just near East London. Bucaneer's backpackers is fantastic and run all sorts of activities like horse riding, surf schools, volunteering in disadvantaged areas, canoeing, safaris etc, and they're right on the beach and lagoon.
