0016This is the best place in the world to see whales! I think the season is in winter (June, July) beacause we were there is summer and there wernt any whales. But i have been there in winter and a Blue whale came right into the bay and it was no more than 700m from the beach. It was the most amazing experience ever. You can also catch glimses of Dolphins if you are lucky.

0016When I was a child, when you went to Hermanus there was a cave that you could go down to from the town. When we went back there earlier this year it had been transformed into a resaurant. It looked amazing. I think they are only open for lunch but is the most superb setting. Definatly worth a look even if you dont want to eat there.
