01410Great Hole, a must see. Looks really impressive. I'd recommend a guided tour- they will take you to the room where they've got the most precious diamonds on display. Kimberley itself is not that attractive. Very hot (was there in October).

002You can't leave Kimberley without seeing the "Groot Gat" (trans "Big Hole"), take an open tram to the diamond mine, spend money unwisely at the tourist shop and, if its winter, don't forget that jersey! (2008)
