Pretoria is a truly awesome city, and probably the safest of the big cities in South Africa. If you are a nature lover, check out the zoo which is one of the best I have been in. If you love shopping Menlyn Park on the outskirts has everything you could ever dream of. For nightlife the square in Hatfield is hard to beat.

Capital city of South Africa. Fantastic capital buildings on top of a hill overlooking the city. beautiful parks surrounding the capital buildings. City is very bust an quite clean. Local transport is mini busses that seem to come from nowhere when you travel around. Fairly nsafe during the day but no so in hours of darkness.

Pretoria is a friendly city! Tings an Times in Hatfield is the best place to hang out! Beware of dealers and pick pockets! Many great restaurants and cool nightlife!
