I'll be living in Daegu, South Korea for a year starting next month. Can anyone suggest a cell phone service? I want to be able to call and text my friends and family in the U.S. Ask a travel question about Taegu
Travel Tips from people who've been to Taegu
OK, first of all its Daegu, not Taegu. Daegu is an industrial town in southern-part of Korea. There is not much beauty in the city but Dongwhasa temple in Palgong Mtn. is lovely as is Apsan. There is a thriving foreign community and visitors should look into Thunderbird Club, The Holy Grill Restaurant, and Dijon Restaurant. Good tip? (0) Home to Camp Walker and Camp Henry, was stationed here while in the Army. The MVP Club across from Camp Henry is a great place to hang out. Ms Lee's restaurant outside the gates of Camp Walker is great for some 3am Munchies Good tip? (0) Ugly looking city. Big and grey. About half way between Seoul and Busan. I don't know about the nightlife there as I was only there during the day on two occasions. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Taegu
