Travel Tips from people who've been to Santiponce
Santiponce makes for a perfect half day trip from Sevilla. I´d reccomend to see Italica first, early in the morning. Mainly because there is barely any shade there and afternoons in Andalucia can get really hot. After that go and see the theatre (Teatro Romano) and the small bath (Termes Menores). At the tourist office they have some handy maps if you can´t find it. In the village on the main street there is a small grocery store if you need a picnick. At the other end of the village there is the marvelous Monasterio de Isidoro del Campo. After you´ve seen this walk back into the village to catch a bus back to Sevilla.
