Travel Tips for Transportation in Andalucía Region
Torremolinos, Andalucía Region, Spain
Swam in the chilly Mediterranean Sea here. Some opted for a trip to Africa (Tangiers) for one day. There was a high rocky and dangerous cliff near where we swam. This was the final travel stop by scenic BIG window coach from Granada, to Seville, to Malaga, for a seven-day tour, while I was in high school. The bus experience was quite exciting. The TIA plane experience was another story altogether! The mountains were beautiful and picturesque. I traveled with my brother for the duration. I was 14yrs-old.
Benalmadena, Andalucía Region, Spain
Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel is a very international piece of Southern Spain. The town of Benalmadena consists of Benalmadena Costa (on the beach), Arroyo de la Miel (the little touristic town a little higher up) and Benalmadena Pueblo, the original village nestled in the Calamorro Mountain. Arroyo has some nice markets (Wednesday and Friday) and the following attractions: Sealife (Dolphins and Penguins), Tivoli World attraction park and the Teleferico (Cable Car) which goes up the mountain.
Jerez de la Frontera, Andalucía Region, Spain
Lovely Jerez...the home of Sherry, Flamenco and beautiful horses.
If you can, don't miss the FERIA (spring)...it's Spanish (or rather Andalusian) culture at its best.
And if you like, go and see a bullfight.
The Teatro de Villamarta is very beautiful, try some tapas around there.
Visit a Bodegas (Sherry)!
Travelling is very easy: by bus or train it is very easily to reach.
Marbella, Andalucía Region, Spain
a lot of huge villas, actually its a well know mafioso hidden ;-) many party clubs and u can go for corrida here as well (its the last thing I would like to see in Spain!), good connection to Malaga and little town down Costa del Sol, after parties it's good to eat nice tapas especially in local places or small family owned bars not necessarily by the main street ;-)
Cordoba, Andalucía Region, Spain
Easy connection from all the major surrounding cities like Granada or Malaga by bus! costs like 20 Euro (Ida y Vuelta) to Cordoba. Amazing old Town
