Travel Tips from people who've been to Sitges
Sitges is a lovely beach side place just outside of Barcelona. Its a heaven for sun-bathers. I would suggest to go equipped with a VEY GOOD sun-block if you are naturally loaded with melanine...the tan you get there doesnt go away easily. My fair-skinned friends got sun burn and I got what I did not want at the first place and what they were longing for. I have become draker by a shade or two, thanks to the fun time I had at Sitges and I still wear a lovely 'tan' on my brown skin :)
Sitges has more than 17 beaches. Take a stroll along the coast and see the quaint churches, bric-a-brac shops, artists at work (pottery), musicians etc. The boulevard is lined with various restaurants, cafes. Treat your tastebuds to local dishes such as Paella or choose from italian pastas to american burgers, hotdogs. Sitges is easily accessible from Barcelona by train (duration < 1hr)
It's a little town just south of Barcelona, easily accessible from the train station at the airport. The beaches are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the locals are very friendly.
