Spratly Islands Travel Guide

As a hotly disputed region due to the rich oil deposits (4^th richest in the world) contained in this cluster of 100 or so of islets and reefs, the tourism infrastructure has not been a priority for the residents, most of whom are soldiers stationed by competing nations all vying for ownership. This dispute doesn’t affect the real residents.  Turtles, seabirds and other sea life continue to come and go unperturbed by the human posturing.
