Take wet weather gear.

Kandy is a place to see when visiting Sri Lanka and if the weather is rainy, don't worry, just wait for half hour drinking tea to one of the hotels around the center. A visit to the Botanical garden is a must for everyone. The Temple of the Tooth is a very interesting experience, be prepared to walk barefoot for quite some time. The local dances last far too long for me!
