In The western costal part of Surinam you find the city of Nickerie. Near Nickerie there is a  brak-water lake called Bigi Pan, a beautiful en quiet  place to see birds an kaimans. Do not stay in Nickerie hotels , but stay on the lake houses ( primitive)
