Travel Tips from people who've been to Sweden
In Scandinavia, we spent most of our nights on overnight trains to save money, however in Stockholm we stayed 1 night on a boat in the harbour. It was very atmospheric. worked out to about $30 per person I think, so pricey on a backpacker budget, but everywhere in Sweden is, so based on that fact, it was pretty good. Good tip? (+1) Stadshotellet is not only a hotel, it's also a sight in itself. And if you come to Nora in search of "Skoga" known from Maria Langs books, it is a must, because it is also the scene of one of her murder stories. Good tip? (+1) the 2kronor hostel is really nice and its located directly on the seaside of gamla stan (the old city), i at least felt save there and it was a good place to start my trips to the different places in stockholm Good tip?
