Legendary Swedish King Gustaf Ericsson Wasa was about the year 1520 made a run from Stockholm for rally up men in the district of Dalicarlia to fight the Danish King Christian and made the first Ski race to keep away from pursuit after about 90 km the local people caught up with him and told him that they will help him... the first Wasaloppet was a fact. Now more then 15 000 ppl do the race every year the same race that he done almost 600 years ago.

Tomteland - the wonderful land of Tomte (the Swedish Santa Claus). You can get there by bus from Mora (  (№107 - Mora busstation -> Tomtelandsvägen Gesunda)
