Travel Tips from people who've been to Malmo
Good tip? (0) The Malmohus castle has been basically transformed into a museum, but it has quite a few all wrapped into one place. Very nice and very affordable/ A small aquarium, toured the castle, parts were very interesting and parts were spooky, also it's close to slottsgarten (sp)
There also is a cafe at the castle
I also took a short stroll over to the light houses as well and not too far is the turning torso. And there is a park that takes you to the beach that is cloest to the turning torso. Good tip? (0) Don't assume you have to fly through Stockholm to get to Malmo, just because Stockholm is the international hub in Sweden. It's actually MUCH easier to fly into Copenhagen and take the train to Malmo. It's cheap and fast (10-15 minutes) -- and if you're staying in the touristy district of Malmo, you might even be able to walk to your hotel from the city's main train station. Good tip? (0)
