Travel Tips from people who've been to Basel
When you go up to the Messeturm there is a lovely bar -the "Bar Rouge". You have a wonderful view over the whole city. Especieally in the night it is very pretty The Zolli: in this zoo you can see a lot of different animals and all of them are living in a very trimly and broad enclosure.

If possible come and visit basel in summer or spring, its rather a small town so ur best of to see it on foot or by pushbike! Cycle along the river and see parts of the oldtown during the day, for eg start near St.Alban and ride to "Birsköpfli", lie in the sun and have a swim in the rhine, then ride across the bridge and back along the river to the "Tinguely Museum"! Soon you'll be reaching the "mittlere brücke",go a bit further and have a cold beer at one of the "buvette", a relaxing bar where u can either sit under the shade or cool ur feet at the riverboard! When the sun sets you should hear a concert on the "Floss" and make ur way further up to the NTAreal and party till dawn...

the best chocolate ever, can be found in Switzerland........ and this city if full of great, little cafes, where you can enjoy a hot cup of chocolate..........do some window shopping at Versace, Prada&co......unless you brought your black american express with you:-))........... and if you spend all your money, take a little walk thru this little city, surrounded by beautiful mountains.........
