Geneva is a complicated, multicultural city. There are tons of things to do: luxury shopping, historical tourism of the Old Town, the UN, and the history of Calvinism; good nightlife, good gastronomy.
There are many good hotels around 100 CHF per night/person. The best ones are located between Geneva Train Station and the Lake, in a neighbourghood names "Les Paquis", also known as Geneva´s Red Light District.
For nightlife, the best clubs are "Java", located at Grand Hotel Kempinski, and Bypass, located at Carrefour de l'Etoile.
