Nyon Travel Guide

Nyon is a little village near the Lemano lake. The old centrum is on the hill. There is a beautifull square where is the castle and the old roman Forum. There are also a beautifull pedestrian main street.From the castle is possible to see a wonderfull panorama of the lake. In the castle is the museum. There is also a Roman museum. It is possible to go by train or by car to Geneve or Lausanne. They are very close.

The last week of July, Nyon dose the best music festival in Switzerland. Kind of a little Woodstock with 40 000 people, 5 stages, a village of the world (changes every year), a huge camping and all the concerts, food and drinks you want. Highly recommended for one week of pure fun and music.

Lovely swimming pool: Collovray (discounted entry fees for Nyon inhabitants). You can also take a dip in Lake Geneva (Léman) as the pool borders the lake. Spectacular views from the pool or lake. Great place to hang out in summer. Lots of fun for kids too.
