Gstaad Travel Guide

gstaad isn't that fancy as they say. it's a beautiful very small swiss village. every year in the middle of september is a cool international country music night. big names like terri clark, billy ray cyrus or rhonda vincent were playing there. this year is the 20 anniversery! marco gottardi (i guess the best swiss country singer) open it and ricky skaggs, bomshel and clint black w'll are making a big show. you can also go for a walk around the pretty "lauenensee" above gstaad and have like a little mountain holidays.

Une station un peu riche mais sans trop de marques extérieur... Pour des vacances pas cher, autant aller voir autour à Schönried, Saanen (pour la partie suisse allemande) et plutot Rougemont et Château-d'Oex pour la partie française.
Très belle région, très calme. Idéal pour les ballades et des sorties dans la nature.

Lovely city centre. Amazing especially during winter time. Seeing all those dressed up men and women, makes you feel you're on the other side of the world ;-). A place that's worth visiting!! And damn good for skiing as well..!
