Rent a bike at the SBB railway-station in Schaffhausen. It costs around 40 sfr. per day. You could take a ride along the river Rhine to the very historic and idyllic city of Stein am Rhein. Most of the building have paintings on the walls from the middleages. It's a 15 km trip and defenitly recommandable on a sunny day...

Go for a stroll beside the river Rhein just after the famous Rheinfalle cascades. There are a lot of places where you can swimm in the Rhein.

Beautiful city at the Rhein river, with many nice medi-evil houses. Don't forget to visit the Rheinfalls, the largest waterfalls of Europe.
