  01116From the main square walk down to the lake sore and pop in the Casinò, just 1 min walk, for a drink and a quick gamble on the roulette tables. If are lucky you now have a handfull of money that you may want to spend on hiring a nice boat; the harbour is 300mt away from the Casinò. If you are in winter time just make a 180°turn and head for the telecabin to the Cimetta ski tracks. It departs from Orselina area. Have fun! Good tip? Ristrante DiVino http://www.ristorantedivino.ch/Team.html The food was fantastic, the restaurant staff were well trained and friendly. Furthermore, the price wasn't so expensive considering the quality. When I went there, the restaurant was full. I recommend you to make a reservation in advance. Good tip? (0)  0192Most spectacular are the anual filmfestivals in the old town of Locarno, always in the late summer nights.
There are many fine restaurants along the lake (also see Ascona).
Not far away from Locarno, in Vall Verzasca, is the enormous & famous "James Bond" dam where you can take your adrenalin to the top by doing bungey-jumping!
