Maalula is a beautiful city with warm, friendly, generous people. When You first  see Maalula it leaves You breathless. You will not need a car to drive around. You journey should be on foot. This way you will be able to take in the full expierence. You will start at St. Tekla onward to Mar Sarkis. The churches are beautiful, the Aramaic language amazing, the views WOW! This is a place everyone should see.  I loved it  and I am going back again and again

It is a must in Syria, the only place in the worl still speakin Aramei, Jesus original language... go down Mary mother of Jesus road between the rock to be mesmerized.
