Travel Tips from people who've been to Nabeul
Visite du Souk et de la ville Good tip? (+1) Worth coinciding your trip with the weekly market here ... the cattle and camel market... though its a bit difficult locating the blue gate of the enclosure ... but ask around and you shall find ... good local pottery and ceramic at cheap prices to buy ... it has a very 'camel' feel to it compared to other Tunisian cities... and you get a good glimpse into non-touristy ordinary Tunisian small town life in Nabeul, walk around in its souk for this... but close to it is its famous tourist beach, sprawling with semi-nude and nude westerners... locals are generally not welcome here but a brave teen or so on the edges of the beach may try and sneak up to a dare-bare sun-bather girl for a tiny chat and, if he is lucky, a kiss or so...
