Fethiye Travel Guide

Fetiye is not very touristy, more of a locals kind of harbour but pretty cheap and good if you don't mind a bit of rough on the hotel factor.  There are good markets around here for local produce and crafts, plus a good bar called Car Cemetry...just watch out for the barmen cos they can be sleazy and add far more volumes to your drink than you realise.  If you are in this area, try and get to Oulu Deniz beach which is gorgeous place, particualrly out of season when you will prob have it all to yourself.

I'd reccomend going because you can't really get bored especially at night there are loads of things to do!! Also the sceneary  is amazing there are two massive mountains on either side of Fethiye. Also your are no more than 5 mins away from the beach. Also connecting onto the beach is the most amazing Lagoon  which is just amazing.

between fethiye and oludeniz there's a place - ovacik. i recommend one restaurant there. it's called 'silvia yoruk sofrasi restaurant'. silvia, the owner, is great, and the food is delicious. you can have meal for 20 - 25 tl (starter, main course, dessert) - patigan, steaks and baklava are the best ;-) i hope i will go there again..
