Travel Tips from people who've been to Icmeler
Is a small friendly relaxing resort with the chill out factor but has enough bars and restraurants with entertainment to enjoy it also has some stalls where you can have fun haggling for a bargain. Nearby is the bigger lively busy resort of Marmaris which is probably more suited for a livlier holiday. Local people are very friendly and helpful they would bend over backwards to make sure you get anything you need.
Tip is to take a universal sink/bath plug with you as some rooms in hotels and apartments dont always have them. Think this is due to Turkish tradition of bathing in running water, so I was told. Also if you are travelling from Britain make sure you have an English £10 banknote for the visa at the airport on entry to Turkey. Scottish banknotes are not accepted at the airport visa passport control. Good tip? (0) Go to "Prince Hotel" for good accomodation, great food and lightlife.
Friendly staff, small hotel with closed, small garden/pool area safe for children.
Super restaurant, great dishes and fun lightlife. Good tip? (0) nice little town, nearby sea with a big harbor. most time, enormous military ships are seen there. there is also a great bazaar. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Icmeler
