Travel Tips from people who've been to Bursa
Bursa: lovely, sweet, charming!
A wonderful city, probably the real heart of Turkey coz is not fake like Istanbul and not too fundamentalist like in the far East!
Go to Mudanya, if possible, and eat fish for a very cheap price, but the quality is super!
A tip: eat Pideli Köfte (go to Kayhan Street (just go down from the Heykel, the very center of the city" and turn right when you see Kayhan Bazaar sign) you can find many restaurants which serve the best pideli kofte in the city in both sides of the street. Pideli kofte is made of small delicious meatballs served on small pieces of pide. It is served by adding tomato soup and melted hot butter on it. Some yoghurt is served by the plage) and Kestane Şekeri (they are everywhere!) Good tip? (0) For food, definitely visit Iskender. You can get Iskender style kebap at many places, but the actual Iskender named restaurant does it best. It is a doner meat with thinly sliced bread, yogurt sauce and melted butter...delicious! Good tip? (0) If someone tells you your Turkish, agree because some men here can't accept someone telling them otherwise. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Bursa
